Default Help with Camera Bag and a Tripod

I have an old tripod which does work fine. It does not have the bubble level or any leveling indicators. I look thru the viewfinder and tell myself that everything is in level. My interest is in Panoramic photos (indoor and outdoor) and for this you do need a leveling device or a tripod. Any suggestions/recommendations?

Another question is about camera bags. Is there a camera bag that you can carry you camera lenses securely? The current bag I have is not any good which can be opened by anyone standing in the back. Also, the bag once it is open the lenses are in cushioned compartments but can easily fall to the ground. I am looking for something that cannot be easily be opened by someone in a touristy spots from behind.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions/recommendations.

Look at this one. You can only get to camera gear from the back side, body side, of the pack, not the front You can get levels from camera store that clip on.
