Help! Im still shooting with a Canon AE-1 Program!

I need some help. I need someone to enlighten me on this whole digital camera thing. Where can I find out more?

Examples: Whats a Mega Pixel and what does 200dpi mean?

What should I look for in a digital camera?

I am into wildlife photography and portraits. I like taking pics of people I know when they dont know Im taking them. (I dont really like posed portraits)

Anyway if you could help me out it would be much apriciated

BTW I love the canon AE-1 and I dont think I will ever get rid of it!!

Many of your questions can be answered at
www.shortcourses.com. There are some good tutorials in choosing a digital camera and the basic uses of a camera.

No shame in using a Canon AE-1 Program. None at all. Do you develop your own? If not, try doing your own black and white developing and printing. Its fun. Hey, I'm 32, and I fly airplanes that are older than me. :)

Camera resolution is mesured in pixels. X pixels by Y pixels. The more pixels for x and y, the higheer the megapixel rating.

DPI == dots (pixels) per inch. It comes into play when you want to print
