Hey, i have a Pentax Optio 33L , now i have a silly question, but my battery died on my yesterday, but when it powered off the camera the zoom lens did not retract like it is suppose to!, is this normal due to lack off battery power?

I would bet it is, but you might want to ask in the Pentax section of this forum.

My old Ricoh Caplio RR30 would do the same, not enough power to keep the camera on when the batteries drain, definitely not going to retract the lens.
As long as the lens retracts normally when you've enough power I shouldn't worry. |

You might want to make your topic subject a bit more descriptive in the future..."help please" gives no clue as to what you need help with...you might get some more replies if you do...just a suggestion, ok?
