I have owned more than I can (care?) to remember. I think I bought my first camera in the early 60's. At one time I worked photography professionally, so I have also owned many medium format cameras, including a Hasselblad, Pentax 6x7, Bronica, Mamiya and Fuji.
The best cameras I have owned - Medium format - Bronica ETR 645 35mm Film - Nikon F2as Digital - my current cameras - Kodak SLR/n and Sony R1 |

I used my dads Canon S100 for a few days, so that was the first camera I used. MY first camera was a Kodak P850, which is very nice. I'm buying a pocket camera in the near future.

Wow. I must really be old. My first camera was a Kodak "Baby Brownie" It took # 126 black and white film. It was made of industructable thick black plastic and I think cost about $8. The one I hadhad no flash. My first digital was a "Umax" 1 mp. Not much of a camera but the capture and editing softwear that came with it got me hooked on digital. I now have Nikon D50.

![]() No you're not old because I remember the Kodak 126 but I'm not sure what mine was called. I can't even recall where I got it. It just sort of faded away. It seems like it was in the early sixties that I remember this camera. Maybe not though. Fast forward to the late 60s and very early 70s I had one of those Polaroid instants...until I saw a relative of mine with a 35 mm Yashica and the more real-life looking pictures it produced. Then I got ''serious'' with my very first 35mm: Miranda-- purchased about 1973 or so. Canon AE program--1978 Canon A1--1979 Still own to this day. Canon F1N-- Still own to this day. Digital. None.-- Looking seriously at the D8O now. Still considering the 30D. If the PanasonicL1 engineers will correct animportant detail, dynamic buffering, then that maysway me backto this one. |
