Default How shoot an image ready for 4x6 prints w/out cropping?

My Minolta Dimage S414 has the image size of 2272 x 1704, the length to with ratio is 1.33. When making 4x6 prints (1.5 ratio), the image is wider so it gets cut off. What I have to do is crop the image before printing. Is there any way to shoot the pictures ready for 4x6 prints without a subsequent cropping?
Thank you very much for your help.

Unfortunately no. The S414 has an aspect ratio of 4:3 so you will always have to crop some top and bottom to fill a 4x6" print which requires a 3:2 aspect ratio. This is why some cameras offer an image size called "3:2" -- it would be nice if they all did ...

What you need to do is some creative cropping when you take the shot. Just make your subject a little smaller in the frame and keep it centered. Sorry, there's no magic to cure this problem other than getting a camera with the 3:2 mode.

Digital cameras with the 4:3 aspect ratio are in the majority, the reason is that the computer screen is 4:3 ratio -- in case you were wondering
