If I paint my lens white inside would it make my camera better for night time use?

No. The flat black is to prevent internal reflections from off-angle light which enters the lens. Painting it white would make the reflections more likely, causing a lot of ghosting and ruining contrast.

OK thanks. The camera I use is a P&S by Aiptek. Takes great pictures and good video, but is just horrible for night use.

But if you painted it white on the outside, it would take better sports photos.
