Image quality is one of my most important features...so is the image quality of the Olympus up to the Fuji level (it seems most people rave about the Fuji S602 picture quality).
Does the 730/740/750 have the exceptional image quality along with the 10X optical zoom I so want (my next most important feature)...or do I have compromise (I hate that! ). Any sample pages would be helpful...THANKS |

I have no personal experience with the cameras you mention but my Olympus C-720 produces quite good results. You can check some of them at http://www2.photosig.com/viewphoto.php?id=847667 or do a search by camera type to do a comparison.

The 740/750 aren't out yet so no one can say anything about them (they are supposed to be better than previous ones).
Some people have had problems with C-730, but pictures have improved after doing pixel mapping, check the Oly forum here. I'm a C-700 user myself, like the zoom but it was a 1st generation megazoom so things could have been improved. |

The UK and the US ... two countries seperated by a common language.
![]() I love the 10× zoom of my C-730 and if I was in your situation I'd be waiting for the C-750 to come out and probably get one of those. I have a feeling that it's going to be a great camera as long as image noise under low light is minimal. I think it's safe to say that you'll be happy with whatever camera you choose but when I chose between my C-730 and the 602z, the Oly won due to longer zoom and its ability of using a remote shutter release. It you're interested, there are sample shots on my web site: http://photos.edjeavons.co.uk |

Steve,
I assume that "nowt" is sort of an English slang spelling for "naught". :?: I figured I knew what you meant...just never saw it spelled like that. I thought us Yanks were the ones butchering up the King's English! |

Whilst I have been reasonably happy with my 720 I am seriously contemplating upgrading to the 750 when it finally arrives for the ED lens, longer zoom, continuous focus and external flash options if nothing else. Will wait and read the reviews first. My local camera shop accepts trade-ins fortunately!
