Does anyone know how the ISO affects how pictures look indark or low light conditions?

the iso makes the picture brighter, but it also creates noise, like film grain....

hope this helps..

The higher the ISO the higher the noise as previously stated. The higher the ISO you can use a faster shutter speed.
