What is the best way to clean my lenses?

First off, don't use cleaners that are designed for eye classes. They can damange the lens.

For simple things, I just use a blower ball. Not one with a brush, I just blow air on it at some speed. That often gets rid of dust and other simple particles.

For things like finger prints, I use a micro-fiber cloth. Works very well.

There are chemicals made to do it, one of the better I'm told is ROR, but I've had very little success with it. But I know others who swear by it.

I've been using Pec Pads and Eclipse fluid for years - NO RESIDUE !

When I turned Pro - glass and sensors got a lot more important. Gear maintenance really pays off in the long run.

i will second the nod for pec-pads and eclipse solution.. great stuff, for both sensors and expensive coated glass..

simple stuff though, as eric mentioned a blower and a microfiber work wonders.. (just be sure to clean your microfiber regularly, you don't want to be running one across you nice lens with some grit on it)
