The manual for my C4040Zoom says to use a blower brush and lens cleaning paper.

Is anyone familiar with the Sima Corporation? I found an inexpensive little pen brush that has a built in cleaner tip. The instructions and the website say it is safe for all lenses, including multicoated surfaces. I just wonder is it really safe to use.

i believe that it has a cleaning compound in it. i myself do not believe in adding any more chemistry to the coatings on the lens. i have been 100% successful with my Microdear cloth in addition to kinetronics staticwisk brush and pocket blower.

Yeah, it has a cleaning compound. That's what made me nervous about using it. I'll probably just stick to a cloth and brush as I've seen different people suggest on here.
