For my Canon EOS 50, (analog camera) I have a 28mm-80 mm zoom and a 100mm-300mm zoom.

What focal length equivalents would these give with a Canon EOS DSLR? Is there a formula for working this out?

Look under 'focal length multiplier' category. The factor is different for levels of Canons (1.3 or 1.6).
