Hello everyone, I am going to a wedding next weekend and I have been asked to take my camera along, but not as the official photographer though. This will be the first wedding since I became interested in photography and Iwas wondering what lens to use in the church and reception. I have a Canon 20D with kit lens (18-55),Canon 10-22 wide angle and Canon 70-300 IS USM. I know none of these are fast, but buying new lens is not an option at the moment. I will also be using a 580EX.Can anyone help me to choose? Thanks in advance.

Unless you are doing individual portraits where you would want the wider end of the 70-300 to give flattering results the choice is the 18-55 as this will do group and church shots well (if you want interesting in church results the 10-22 will give good architecture around the couple etc).

Thanks Mark1616, I think I will go with the 18-55 but I will also take the 70-300 with me. I'm a bit worried about using the 10-22 in case it distorts things and makes people look on the porky side of things. Thanks again.

Also keep in mind you will most likely not be able to use your flash during the ceremony. If it were me I would take all three of your lenses. The 10-22mm might be a good one to capture the entire inside of the church.

Thanks Caboose, I think I will take all 3 as suggested.
