I just noticed at the bottom of each post a Like link and on some pages a Share link. I guess this is something new, but is it really necessary?

I just noticed it this morning. Some posts have 4 or 5 "Like" links.
Not sure I understand what it's for.

Well, now they seem to be gone. Maybe I just imagined them.
