Hello. I am seeking a cheaper alternative to the Canon PowerShot S1 IS. I like the ability to take long, 640 x 480 movies at 30 fps. I also like the control over aperture and shutter settings that it provides. However, I don't need the 10x zoom or the image stabilisation that the zoom necessitates. I know that I could forgo the high quality movie or control functions to find much cheaper options, but I would really prefer a camera with the ability to do both. Does anyone here know of an acceptable substitute?

Nikon 3700 - movie ability, plus possibly (I'm not sure) the ability to have aperture and shutter priority.
