Default Looking for a simple, easy to use camera

I am thinking about purchasing a digital camera for my wife for Christmas.

I already own an Olympus C5050, but a camera like that would be
overkill for her use.

I am looking for a fairly simple camera, that takes decent pictures
for her to use.

In no particular order, this is what I am looking for.

1. At least 3 megapixels
2. Ease of use.
3. The smaller the better
4. At least a 3x optical zoom

If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate hearing from you.

The Canon A70, A80, S400, S45, S50.

The Canon's are very easy to use. I'd say they're probaly the best cams to use in auto mode.

The Nikon Coolpix 3100 meets all of your criteria, and is truely a point-and-shoot. Very simple operation, and sharp photos.

Hi John S

Buy her another Olympus like yours

This is why:

You can be her teacher on the camera.

When you two travel you always have a backup!

Just a thought...
