I was on ebay looking at some of the movie editor software, and there are too many to choose from.

I guess all it need is a cut and paste, bright/contrast control, color corrections control, software for the most common movie file formats. I don't plan to transfere tape to DVD or anything like that. I just want to buy a digital camera that takes 30 second video clips for training, edit video clip, and put video clip in Director.

I don't think I need a very powerful video/movie editor for this. What low end editor would you suggest?
