Default Movie Mode on a Canon (so short!?!)

Okay, I just got a Canon S200 which has movie mode w/sound. Now it says it can only take "4 seconds" of 640x480 video.

Obviously, that sucks! But here is my question...

Can I assume it only fits the 4 seconds because it is assuming you are only using the 8MB CF card it comes with?

If I bought a 128MB one, I should be able to get 8 times as much, right?

Anyone know or anyone with a camera like that have any idea?

According to Steve's review of the camera:
640 x 480 pixels (Approx. 4 sec.)**
320 x 240 pixels (Approx. 10 sec.)**
160 x 120 pixels (Approx. 30 sec.)**
Approx 20 frames/ sec.
** The data in parentheses refer to the maximum movie length per shooting

Memory capacity of cameras has nothing to do with the amount of memory card storage you have...it has to do with the camera's INTERNAL memory (the buffer that stores the image while it is writing to the card). If you bought the camera to use as a movie camera, suggest you get a camcorder instead...still cameras take great pictures but are mediocre video cameras, while camcorders take great movies and mediocre still pictures.

There's nothing you can do to shoot a longer movie, except for reducing the resolution as written above.
