Are there any camera's out there with a good movie mode that can handle zoom and sound at the same time without using an external microphone?
I guess what i'm asking is why is this so? Thanks |

I'm sure there must be a few. But you would only really want one with a manually operated zoom, so as to not have the interference of the motor.
My Dimage A2 can do this, as can the newer A200. I think the A200 has better resolution for movies too. I notice when I do zoom, the focus takes a moment to adjust, but that's only to be expected. Not a big problem. I'm sure other members will come up with some later models that can also do this, as my camera model isover a year old now. Stevekin. |

Canon S1 IS and S2 IS stick out. They both have stereo sound and an excellent (if short lived lol) movie mode.
