Help, I need a new photo printer and I am so confused between which brand to choose. I am looking at the HP C6180 or one of the Epson's RX series. There are different things I like about each one. I like the fact that you can print on CD/DVDs with the Epson and the fax option on the HP My concern is that my previous photo printer was an Epson Photo 820 and it only lasted 3 years before the head went bad. I have heard that Epson prints the best but that they have a lot of issues with clogging. Then there is the ink use issue. Do the newer Espons still go through a lot of ink?
I'm wanting a printer that prints greatlooking photos, bright, clear photos(4x6, 5x7 and an occasional 8x10)as well as the greatest longevity of the pictures. Printing on transparencies is also an option I'm looking for. I would like it to be an all in one as I don't want to have to have 2 printers if at all possible. Of course that's not written in stone.
Can anyone give me advice? Thanks!!
