Default New Camera

Hi everyone. I have been trying to get an opinion on a good first camera. I am not sure if I was too detailed before, but I think it is best I say what I look for in a camera before you can fully assist.

I have a few cameras in mind that I'd like some comments on. It is hard choosing a good camera, hence now I have 8 in all that I am reviewing (and trust me I have read many!). But it would be nice to get personal experiences and/or professional knowledge on the worth of some of these cameras. I am seeking no more than 4 MP and 3 min. It must have A/V connection, movie with sound, be compact and ultracompact (good ergonomics) and produce overall good pictures for reproducing up to 8 x 10 photos. The ones I have been looking at are:

Minolta Dimage Xt
Pentax Optio S
Nikon Coolpix 3700
Nikon Coolpix 3200 (seems too new as I cannot find a review on the 3200)
Panasonic DMC-LC333 (never known Panasonic as a good brand, but this one seems cool?)
Sony Cybershot DSC-P8
Cannon S400
Canon SD100

I'd really appreciate your assistance in "narrowing" down this list. THanks

Out of those choices, I'd personally go for the S400. It's larger 1/1.8" 4 Megapixel CCD will have less noise at higher ISO speeds compared to the smaller (1/2.5", etc.) CCD's in the others.
