Hi all,
I also have a Sony a200 and I have a problem. Basically when I look through the viewfinder and take a shot the photo does not come out properly. The image is a much lower perspective than I was looking at (it is as though I am actually pointing lower than I was). I am going away on holiday very soon so I am reluctant to send it off as I think it will not be fixed in time........Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks |

Are you a glasses wearer, do you get your eye right up to the view finder?

I don't wear glasses and it's definitely the camera rather than my eye position. It hasn't always happened, had the camera over a year and this starting happening about 2 months ago. Any more ideas?

You're describing exactly what others have described as the image stabilization system fails. I suspect that your A200 is no longer under warranty, and it could cost as much as $250-$300 to fix, but you should get it back in a reasonable amount of time.
You might consider replacing it. Do you have a collection of lenses already?
