I just bought my first digital camera Pentax E30. Im learning all the bells and whistles but have a question. I am afraid I am going to scratch the lcd on the back. Does anyone recommend a plastic film to apply to keep scratches to a minimum?
Also, what is the best way to clean the lcd. I try not to touch it but finger prints are noticable. Thanks for the assistance, Joe |

As to scratching the LCD, there are lots of after market covers for those. I couldn't tell you about anything specific to your camera, but perhaps someone else can.
But for cleaning, there's usually a section in the owners manual about that. The LCD is just glass, but a typical glass cleaner might damage the case, seals or trim. |

one of the best LCD protectors is called "da" protector by da products. They are pretty cheap too.I have 4 digital cameras and have one on all of them. As far as cleaning it a micro fiber cloth works pretty good, but as TCav says I would be cautious about using some cleaners.
