I got a probelm using this camera, all the pictures I take on it seem to come out grainny and a bit pixelated. I mean I am only standing about 3metres away from the subject should this be the case?

When comparing photos taken by other cameras the quality difference whilst viewed on the PC is substantial but not extraodinary. However I took these photos to be developed and the photos taken on another camera( a canon 3.2mp camera; cant remember model) was by far superior

Wondering if this has somehting to do with my settings or is it the cameras lense?
Any1 have any suggestions advice to help me fix this, if not a recommendation for a new camera would be nice. I often take night shots and the camera cannot be too big, as I take it clubbing in my pocket.

Many thanks

Graininess is usually caused by high ISO. Have you checked your ISO setting? (Anything greater than 100 will give graininess with that camera.)

Pixellation is a resolution issue. What size image have you selected? Check your settings and go for the largest image.
