Ok.. was at a gymnastic meet today and I was lucky enough to capture a picture of the on-site commerical photographer chimping!

hey, mabye if you asked real nice, he would let you try out his lens on your rebel, i think that's cannon glass
mabye you should post that in the do you chimp poll know, watch and see how many people say "what is chimping?" |

I still don't see what's wrong with doing that. If you shoot a bunch of pictures and don't look at them until later, you're missing out on one of the big benefits of digital over film.

it's great if you are checking your comp., shutter speed, exposer, timeing, etc. (i do it all the time)
BUT, if you do it just to "show off", during the event, not at half time or when ever, you CAN miss photos (trust me, i have done it before ![]() |
