I am thinking of archiving many of my photos to picture cd (to view my pictures on my TV (via my dvd player) through a standard CD-R. The main reason being is to give these cds to family member who are not-in-any-way-at-all computer literate.

I have tried using Nero with 3.2mp photos and these come out a little blurry. I am not a techie when it comes to these type of things, but would want to know the best method or alternatives of viewing photos on a DVD player???

VCD photo discs...it's low resolution, but it should be compatible with their player (not all DVD players are VCD, SVCD, DVD-R, DVD-RW compatible).

You have to remember TV resolution is nowhere near the resolution of your camera...you may want to lower the resolution of your images in advance to VCD resolution, and then apply a little sharpening.

I've never used Nero, I prefer to use dedicated photo to CD/DVD products where you can put a proper show together with effects and music.
