Does anyone know of any photo contests that are currently running in Toronto, Ontario, or in the area? Or anywhere else for that matter that is open to Ontario residents living in the GTA? If you do, post the info here.

GREATER TORONTO COUNCIL OF CAMERA CLUBS inter-club competition, but I think submissions are over and the final showing is coming up soon.

While most member clubs have internal competitions as well they only have a month or two left in beforewinding down for the spring and summer months. They generallyresume operations around September.

The big annual Contact Photography Festival is also about to occur, It is nice to wander Toronto and look at all the installations, but is also probably too late to enter for this year.

There is a separate one for Americans, Canadians, and another for Canadians specifically in the Muskoka area.

Go for it guys!

Looks interesting, small entry fee per image and small prizes for winners:-)There are some nice images in their galleries.

If I entered anything in Canada it would be the yearly photo-life image Internationalcontest the top prizes there are in the thousands of dollars in equipment. But I stay away from most contests, and don't qualify forany thatrequire anamateur standing.
