photo printers
Hi I have a canon a40 and wondered if I was to get a photo printer what would anyone suggest,my regular printer does an ok job Is there really a difference in printers vs photo printers??It seems like the direct printing option is nice!

The A40 will only direct print to one of those Canon dye-sub card printers. It won't direct print to the bubble jets, but you can put the CF card in it and print from that.

The ink jet photo printers will use more colors.

I just bought the Canon S820, with a $50 rebate, it is amazing, very fast and borderless prints, 6 separate ink tanks, etc..I highly recommend it! I still love my original HP Photosmart printer, but the Canon is just so much faster...

Santa is bringing a HiTi 630 printer for Christmas. I printed two test prints and the quality is photo shop quality. It will only print 4X6 prints and you purchase the photo paper and color media in a package that cost $20. That is 40 cents a print. You can read Steve's review.
