When opening a file for editing in Elements 2, the picture is dark and over saturated. But if I do edit the picture and save it back to its folder, the picture has normal saturation and brightness. I also have Photoshop 5, and it doesn't have this problem. Any ideas? Thanks

Some image editing programs are set up to "display simulated printer colours" (that's the way Corel Photopaint words it, Photoshop and Elements have similar settings). If one program has this enabled, and the other not, this can be the cause.
The most common complaint is people say the image looks different in Photoshop and a viewing program like Irfanview...that's the most common cause. |
