pictures are underexposed, wrong colors and greenish white

I bought a JVC GC-QX3 3.3 MP digi cam on Ebay. When I took a picture of my car during day time, the pic came out with very faint colors and much darker than I expected.

Inside pictures are so dark that I have to increase the exposure by +2 to be able to see it.

Nothing is working right with this camera.

The seller wont take it back and since I paid with Money order I can not put get my money back.

Is this camera damaged? Is it possible to fix it? What do you think I should do?

This is an example of pic that I took inside. It has been retouched by photoshop to get it to this level. The original pic was much darker and greener.

I dont see how paying with a money order would make a difference on a refund. Maybe you should take it up with eBay if the camera wasnt described accurately.

If your inside pics have a green tint, its most likely from flourescent lighting. Are there any manual color balance settings on your camera (in P mode)?
