Is there any way to manually code line breaks in forums posts? I use a Mac, and not only is it like typing in treacle (the letters appear really, really slowly as I type, like I am typing in some horrific Java emulation thing) but all the line breaks vanish on posting. I've tried guessing at UBB code or even using "<BR>" but nothing works. If I press one of the formatting buttons above, I get taken to an error page with "Invalid Entry" on it.

UBB propably doesn't have any such formatting tags.
But have you checked what character encoding it uses? This forums uses (unicode) UTF-8 encoding. http://tlt.psu.edu/suggestions/inter...rs/safari.html If that won't work I suggest trying other browsers like Opera or FireFox. (in them encoding is easily accessible) http://www.opera.com/download/index.dml?custom=yes http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html |
