Today I dropped the S90 off the top of the refrigerator and it won't turn on anymore. I tried switching out the batteries but nothing works. Was thinking of getting it repaired but its $75 just for the estimate.
I need help ;___; |

G'day Sads
You could dispose of the fridge coz it caused the camera to drop on the floor ... I have had a digi camera die after falling off my lap onto a cafe floor I think that you have just joined the 'dead' camera club Save your $75 ... add a bit more and get an up-to-date replacement Regards, phil

I would have to agree that it probably isn't worth the money or the trouble.

I would agree with the others. That's the one issue I have with the S90...build quality wise, it's not built for rough handling. I've dropped mine and it shows a couple of dings, although it still works fine. The S90 was selling for around $250 during the holiday season, so even getting it looked at isn't worth it. The S95 is only a minor upgrade, so if you can find an S90 for a good price I'd go for it.
