Default Is it possible?

Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to JB Weld a step up ring to my current digi cam ( crappy 1mp Kodak ) so I can use lenses on it? Will the JB weld be strong enough to support lets say the Raynox .24x fisheye? Or should I juse use a 37mm thread one so I can use my camcorders fisheye? I just need something to hold me over untill I get a better camera.

You might be beter off just using a high stregth epoxy depending on how the two fit together. The metal particles in jb weld are designed to give strength when the bond is going to bridge a gap, but if there is a close fit, epoxy will work beter. Another issue is wether. If it is taken through a drastic tempature change like indoors to outdoors in a cold climate it can break the bond. If the two surfaces bonded are porus, it will hold in this instance but if they are not porus it can pop free. Reguardless of what you use, use alcohol (or if it is safe to the surfaces, acetone) to remove every trace of dirt and oil.
