Does anyone know how to make Mozilla Firefox work properly on this forum?

Black on white script instead of white on black is most noticeable and there may be other querks. Most disfunctional is the lack of the "insert link" icon.

Is there an extension available maybe?

I've been using Firefox for a while and the only problems I've had with the forums is when I use something other than the default settings. Since it seems stuff shows up different with different browsers, I think it isn't a good idea to use anything but the defaults.

If you simply put the URL into your message, it works just find as a link.

Jeeze, I've been using Firefox so long that I don't even know what "proper" functionality is on this forum. There are very few times when I miss IE. Hmm. White on black script you say? Weird.

If I want to add an URL, I just copy and paste it like any other text and the link works just fine!

I haven't really had the black on white problem, unless I try to set a color. If you just leave it and don't chose a color, it will show as an appropriate color in each theme. But I always though there should be a selection in that dropdown for "default" in order to get that back once it's changed in a post.

For links, I use the boards EZ code, like this:

Code:

link
which produces this:
link

You can also put the url in quotes. A short url like that you can just paste in and it will do it automatically, but long urls that way tend to mess up the page formatting for everyone, especially those with smaller screens. So I use this method for longer urls.

There's a similar format for images:

looks like this:
