Hello Everyone,
The wealth of information here is outstanding! I've learned much reading the posts. I thought I would ask you a question I have. I've recently purchased the Olympus 750 & am anxiously awaiting its arrival. I would like a photo printer that takes the XD card so when I am away from my computer or have pictures I don't want to send to my computer first, I can just print them up. I was told at BestBuy that the only printer that takes the XD right now is the HP 245 and it only prints 4 x 6. Does anyone know if this is true? Are there any other companies working on bringing one to the market that takes the XD and/or prints up to 8 x 10? Thanks so much! Carla in MI |

since xD is fairly new it may take a generation or 2 to get in the que for addition to a printer direct. there is a xD to CF adapter put out by Fuji an Olympus which will allow a xD card to be used in just about any CF device
olympus part #MACF-10 cost about $50-60US this adapter allows me to use xD cards in my eos1ds, 7Hi, dell Axim 5 to me its a smarter way to go as CF is the dominant form factor in the marketplace today and its easier to find CF enabled printers and possibly better ones too. |
