Default Q on Panasonic's 720P video modes.

All the recent Panasonic digicams which have 720p video recording are able to do so in either H.264 or MJPEG.

Now, the thing I'm confused about is that some reviews state that European/PAL models have 15min limit, regardless or the format used. While the US/NTSC models can record for an unlimited duration.

Recently I tried with one of the older models which only had the MJPEG option for 720p videos. I tried recording with a continuous video on a US/NTSC model and it maxed out at the 2GB file limit (footage duration about 20min). Thus not unlimited.

So my question is, are the new ones (such as FZ38 or ZS3) with H.264 format option really able to record for an unlimited amount of time? Or are they able to record video files over 2GB in size?
