I'm not sure I understand what your question is. Can you please rephrase it?

I like the Minolta G500 as a pocket camera at a reasonable price. 5Mp with a 3X zoom and the price is right.
Another camera I really like is the Minolta 414. Definitely not a pocket camera but 4Mp and 4X optical zoom. I especially like the continuous focus and fast shutter delay with pre-focus, which can be used in more situations with the continuous focus. VOX says it uses a lot of battery in continuous focus but spares are cheap using NiMH AAs. The S45 is a nice camera but a little bulky and heavy for a pants pocket. Get something big enough to hold or small enough to carry everywhere in your pocket. I’m not familiar with the S40. If you are referring to the A40 I would go for something better. If you are referring to the S400 it is a very nice camera but the G500 is cheaper and has more Mp – a better value IMO. Steve doesn't charge by the word BTW. |
