i downloaded picassa , for organizing my photos, from google.its great,buti cant remove the green/blue reflection of my dogs retina.its equivelent is red eye.how do i remove this "blue eye" or whatever its called

I'm by no means an expertt on anything being a newbie myself. I had the same problem as you using element's 3.

I know it's not the answer you're looking for, but if you use an external flash, and bounce it off the ceiling, you won't have the problem to begin with.:|

Paint Shop Pro has an "animal eye" removal tool.

There are several ways to do it, but its software dependent. The color replacement tool in PS makes it fairly easy. Another way is to use the selection tool to pick just the eye and then paint over it. Another is to select the eye and reduce that color channel (But that turns it grey not black.)

I've used all those on different occasions.
