Does anyone know when we can expect to see replacements for these cameras? And, what do you expect to see in the replacements? Better low-light capabilities perphaps? That is my hope atleast

Because of the long focal lengths range, it will be difficult (if not impossible) to increase low light performance, and maintain compact size, and reasonable prices. You would need a faster lens (f2.8 or better), but to achieve that, you'd need a much larger, more expensive optic. Some of this might be achieved through better processing algorithms, but this can only go so far. Likely, you'll see more bells and whistles, maybe larger LCD's etc.
