Hello all,

I love my Coolpix 950. Its features are good, and I am getting great pictures out of it. I do not need higher resolution. I also use quite frequently the Wide Angle add-on lens.

Unfortunately the power switch is dying on the camera. I could either have it fixed for about $100, or I could get a new camera ( for lets say upto $400).

What would you recommend: should I get it fixed, or can I get a better camera ( I do not need more than 2 mpixels, but I do neet the Coolpix's wide angle capability) for a price below $400?

Any advice would be more then welcome.

Regards,

Miklos

Miklos,

For 100$, I would get it repaired .

Especially about the switch , here is a "reference" if you want (and dare:| ) do it yourself ;):
