I just bought a Sigma 18-300mm lens for my Canon SL2 so I don't have to constantly switch back and forth between my Canon 18-55mm and 55-250mm lenses. However, omegle xender I quickly discovered that the Sigma lens zoomed to 300mm doesn't magnify anywhere close as much as the Cannon lens zoomed to just 250mm. Can someone explain what's going on? And is there a reasonably priced lens out there that can actually replace those two Canon lenses?

The Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II has a minimum focus distance of 3.6 ft./1.1m, while the Sigma 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 DC MACRO OS HSM | C has a minimum focus distance of 39 cm / 15.3 in.
Can you post some examples?

I'm sure there is, but I'm also sure that none will give you image quality as good as you'll get with multiple lenses with less ambitious zoom ranges. Isn't that why you bought an interchangeable lens camera in the first place?
