Default Sony DSC-F707 vs. Minolta Dimage 7i ....Help Me!

Just a quick query I'm hoping some of you folks can help me with. I'm looking to buy a prosumer digicam in the 5-megapixel range, and I'm looking at the Sony DSC-F707 (that's right, the 707) and the Minolta Dimage 7i, both on ebay.

The Sony's 510 including a 128Mb memory stick and is second hand, but in perfect nick, while the Minolta's 555 and doesn't include any extra memory.

I'm wondering whether it's worth forking out the extra 45 quid for the Minolta since both cameras received very good reviews on this and other sites, especially since it seems the Sony's better in low light conditions.

So what I'm basically asking is, has time treated the DSC-F707 well? Or is it now over-shadowed by the Minolta? (Since the Sony can't take Memory Stick Pro, will it be obsolete in a year or so?), etc...

Thanks for reading this, hope you can solve my dilemna for me!
