What are the chances of some of the better photographers here helping the less able (Me for one)?
They could post a photo of theirs and others could try to take a similar photo and then post their results. Then they could discuss what's wrong with them and get suggestions on what to try different to get a better photo? They could post the new photos and see if they have improved? I know there are books and tutorial sites, but nothing beats actually chatting to someone who knows what they are doing. |

That's what the "Post your photos" group of forums on this website are for. If you really want to hone your skills, join the goup in the "Weekly Challenge" forum where a new challenge is posted every two weeks and people submit entries based on the challange. Everyone is invited to critique the photos and the critiques are usually very good.

what cal said
![]() just PM me any ideas you'd have for a challenge (or send me a picture you'd want to have people try to take) and i could use it in the upcoming weeks... there is also the Xtreme makeover forum...which you post yourphoto, and people try to make it better (or just different ![]() of course, just post them in the landscape/people/closeup/stupidpettricks/wildlife/Other forums and you're pretty likely to get a critique (especially if you ask for it specifically in your thread) i, somewhat, know wat i'm doing ![]() ![]() Vito |
