Is it down? I've been getting 403 errors from it the last day or so.

It works fine for me.

I got similar problems with the froums some time ago. I deleted all the cookies and temp files and the problem was solved. :)

No main site down time in quite a while now -- actually since the last hurricane, no down time at all. Probably ISP or Internet connectivity on your end, I've had no other reports of problems at all. Here in the Forums we have had some down time and a few slow downs due to maintenance in the last two weeks but that's it and this is another site and server altogether.

Looks like it works from home, not from work. Maybe the proxy there is blocking things.

I've been having intermittent problems getting to to both the main site and the forums today, too.I'm on a cable modem with Comcast here (Savannah, GA).

Access to other sites has worked fine, when I tried them at the same time I had problems getting to this one (but, I haven't been on very many sites to try and see if other sites could be impacted, too).

My guess is that we've got a flaky router somewhere between us and Steve. The problems only last for a minute or two each time when they occured today.

hey steve, was there a period that you looked like a squirel? cause right after you switched, your avatar was a little squirel with a nut, it was quite funny

The only time there's problems is usually around 4-5am eastern...I assume that's when the server does a backup or other intensive activity that's slowing the server down.

If you're from a country outside of North America where this is the middle of the day when you are trying to access the site, you will get time out errors.

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 1:52 AM.
