Default Storing Photos - Need Advice

I'm looking to store a great amount of photos in my collection. I heard of a company called ScanMyPhotos.com that allows you to send them as many pictures you can fit in a box for $99 and free shipping. Has anyone on this forum used them or can recommend them. http://bit.ly/1E3LJI9

Its better then not digitalizing them at all. I bought a scanner printer just for the reason you describe. It's very time consuming but the advantage is I can color correct, touch up and organize them.
Just make sure you back them up when you get them back.

Let us know how it works out if you decide to use their service.
