Default Sunset tips

I'm on vacation in Savannah, GA and desperately (a bit over stated) need tips on how to capture sunsets.

Find a good spot where the horizon isn't too cluttered. I tend to spot meter on the sky or clouds near the sun, to keep from washing out too much, but still allowing the sun a bit of a corona. If there are interesting foreground objects, take multiple exposures and combine for a bit of HDR. Some lens flare can be interesting, as well.
One very nice thing about sunrises and sunsets, is that they don't happen very fast, and will give you some time to play with settings.
