First of all - this website is an amazing resource. Thanks to whoever is behind it all.
I am researching cameras trying to make a choice and I am finding the amount of choicesand level of detail makes this difficult.:? I am looking fora 3-4 megapixel camera in the $300 dollar range. Since most of my photos will be indoor candids, I am concerned with the quality of the flash and the speed of the camera's operation (per shot as well as shot to shot). I want to avoid cameras that have a long delay after press in the shutter buttton. Image quality and optical zoom arevery important, but the camera's speed and indoor capabilitiesare the deciding factors.
I am not afraid of manual operation, but would like some automatic functions for those moments when I don't have time fuss.
Right now the Canon Powershot A80 and A75 andthe Nikon Coolpix 3200 are near the top of my list, but I am open to suggestions. The Fuji Finepix A310 (discontinued?) is recommended and has greater flash distance than the other two. Are there any other contenders?
Thanks!:-)
