Default tv tele conversion lens

Steve can you please help? A lens has recently come into my posession that I have been unable to identify. It has Made in Japan on it but has no makers name. It is 16 cm long and at the connecting end there is a 9 cm flexible cable with a multi pronged connecting head. It has the words "TV Tele Conversion lens 1.5x"above the connecting end. At the other end are the words :TV Zoom Lens 10 ~ 120 mm 1:2.

I think you've got a lens for a television camera.
  • The lens is the thing.
  • 'Full Frame' is the new 'Medium Format'.

It would help if you supplied a picture of the lens and cable.

This sounds, actually, like two separate pieces. A 1.5X converter lens, and a 1-120mm zoom. The connector you mention sounds as if it could be power and control for zoom and focus, such as used in CCTV cameras.
Does the lens have male threads, and roughly what size are they?
