Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to do the course that I wanted at the local college, due to a change in travel plans. I would really love to do a hands on practical course that starts from the ground up. I'm happy to devote a long weekend to it if it is accessible from the southwest (by plane or train).
I found one searching randomly at http://www.photographycourses.org.uk/news.php, and the weekend course there is exactly what I'm looking for! I will contact him tomorrow, and I'd be interested in hearing from people who took it. Are there any that people can recommend? I can also easily get to cities like Paris, Amsterdam, Salzburg, Dublin, etc. and it would actually be cheaper than London! I'd strongly prefer English, but I'd consider a course in French as well - I just need to buy a photography dictionary ![]() Thanks. |

Thanks for the suggestions. I live in Exeter, which is why I was hoping for something over 2-3 days instead of every week. The every week is probably better from an educational standpoint since I can go out and work on what I've learned, but my Exeter choice doesn't work.
Bristol is closer, but they all seem to be Intermediate and up. I can barely remember to look in the right end of the camera right now, so it might be over (under?) my head ![]() Is online worth considering instead? Or should I just buy a book if I'm thinking of self-study? Thanks, Dr. PITUK |
