There's some confusion about the newer devices that say they are, "USB 2.0 Full Speed" but don't operate any faster on a USB 2.0 computer.
Just to clear up the misunderstanding, there's a difference between 2.0 "compatible" and 2.0 speeds. Most USB devices can say they are 2.0 compatible because USB2.0 is backwards compatible with the older speeds (there are some devices that don't work with the newer USB standard).
The devices that says, "USB 2.0 Full Speed" DOESN'T mean the full 2.0 speeds (480Mbps), "Full Speed" means USB1.1 speed (12Mbps)...there's Low-Speed of 1.5Mbps (USB1.0), Full-Speed of 12Mbps (USB1.1), and Hi-Speed of 480Mbps (USB2.0).
