I've noticed a purple dot in all the pictures taken with my brand new 8 hours old Nikon D50. Is this a bad spot on the CCD? Dirt? Should I return the camera? I know this spot will bug the heck out of me, it now stands out like a sore thumb on every picture I look at. This is a 100% crop from a picture, with a bit of jpg compression added.

Does this appear at all iso's?? If so, it looks like a hot pixel, and yes you should return it.
